I have used SurveyMonkey almost in all of my career, it’s very basic and easy to use and implement and I have had fun, the customizable templates have been great too
Pros
Simplistic approach and easy to use and distribution
Cons
Though recently some new features with color schemes and themes have been introduced but some are very tacky and not professional enough.

Pros
I like the ability that you have to tailor this program to suit your need. It allows you to conduct a companywide poll to get feedback from your staff quickly and effectively so that everyone can feel like their ideas were heard. I also love the anonymity it offers.
Cons
Sometimes it can still be difficult to speak your mind freely, because the company can ask questions in a certain way that if you were honest, they would know who the person was answering, which makes the survey not as anonymous as one would hope.

It is ok, but there are some out there that are more cost effective that give more in their product...
It is ok, but there are some out there that are more cost effective that give more in their product and have more connectivity to other programs than this one.
Pros
It is easy to use and even teenagers can get the hang of it. They even have a free edition that lets you do enough questions for a small survey without charging you.
Cons
For anything more robust you have to pay.

Its got some good surveys. Its an easy to use platform and not hard to do and not too long.
Cons
Can be tedious. Some dont pay very well and some you wont qualify for. But its free to join.
