## Overview

### Key benefits of Augmentt

Most MSPs hit the same wall. The client base grows, Microsoft 365 gets more complicated, and the security work that used to take one good technician a few hours a week becomes a job spread across the whole team. Then a cyber insurer sends a questionnaire, or a client asks whether their data is safe with Copilot, and nobody can answer it across the whole book without a week of manual work. 

Augmentt was built for the MSP on the other side of that wall. Audit every client tenant against CIS Microsoft 365, NIST CSF 2.0, the HIPAA Security Rule, CMMC, CISA SCuBA, or Essential 8. Every check shows the control it satisfies, so a failing check maps straight to the question the auditor is going to ask. Fix that check across every affected tenant in one action. > **Pros**: The ability to access customer Microsoft accounts and take appropriate actions (assign licenses, block accounts, reset passwords) from a central console is very helpful.

> **Cons**: The solution is unreliable compared to other solutions we have deployed, and the Shadow IT / SaaS discovery is poorly developed and lacking in functionality.
> 
> Our overall experience with Augmentt left much to be desired.  We ultimately made the decision to discontinue service and move to another solution.
