## Reviews

### "The Classic for Audio Management" — 4.0/5

> **Dana** | *May 9, 2026* | Veterinary Software | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Limewire is currently and has always been my favorite way to download music. I love how there is a comprehensive library to download from and super easy to transfer downloads over to something such as iTunes or however else you manage your music/film files.
>
> **Cons**: With there being such such a comprehensive library to download from, sometimes that means you truly need to search through files to find exactly what you're looking for.
>
> I have been using LimeWire for years. I love being able to search for specifc audio files and add them to my library. Its super easy to use and the application has in depth "how-tos"

### "My very personal favorite" — 5.0/5

> **Mac** | *April 9, 2025* | Graphic Design Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Account? What account? No sign up to continue, no \*bs\* popups, just straight into a clean and speedy UI, fast U/D speeds, library that actually works. I don't need more to give it 5/5 .
>
> **Cons**: In terms of personal preference - I,d like to have the option to change the UI colors to dark grey\&red.
In terms of LimeWire as a service - I have nothing to complain about.
>
> My experience is very positive and I don't say that often. What you get in exchange for not needing to sign up or deal with 5k popups and ads is just overvalue for money. I've never seen such allowances on any cloud (I've been juggling files for good 20yrs now).

### "My Pros/Cons Using LimeWire" — 3.0/5

> **Seth** | *March 14, 2025* | Executive Office | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I liked more about LimeWire was being able to download music, movies, and tv shows for free.
>
> **Cons**: It's download speed, security risks, and potential risk of malware.
>
> My overall experience with LimeWire was generally good. I have a Mac so luckily, I never got any malware. However, I sometimes experienced crashes and sometimes the files I downloaded weren't complete, were incorrect, or simply didn't work.

> **Michael** | *May 13, 2025* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is so easy to use and there are no hoops you have to jump through to be able to upload the file that you want to upload.
>
> **Cons**: I haven't found any problems yet at the moment
>
> I am loving it. It is so fast to upload and the files I am sending to radio stations as I work as a freelance radio presenter and journalist are there for the stations to download

> **Siddhartha** | *July 9, 2025* | Animation | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: in its class it is one of the fastest file senders out there , the upload speeds are crazy fast , and it works on slow internet as well.
>
> **Cons**: its website design I dont like , the green and white color scheme is not that good. it could use a better looking website.
>
