> **Pros**: It's very easy to write custom queries and perform data analysis\! Metabase provides a read-only front-end connection to multiple databases and allows me to write and save queries and questions, and then I can package them up into links and dashboards for my team to use.

> **Cons**: It doesn't allow joins between different databases. It's not possible to use it as a data lake or data aggregator between sources.
> 
> I use it for all sorts of data analysis. Mainly reviewing customer orders, displaying sales reports and reviewing accounts to make sure they are complete.
