> **Pros**: If, like me, you want to control your online content then you do not want to use cloud services from big tech.  I have my own website and jAlbum allows me to display my images exactly how I want and most importantly under my control.

> **Cons**: There are a couple of features I would like to add - some of the templates need to be worked around to get exactly what I want, an itegrated html editor would help too.

> In general an excellent product, solid and reliable.  Not hard to understand and has plenty of flexibility.  The customer service was excellent, I had a need for a macro to extract metadata from images and the team wrote one for me\!

> **Cons**: I also use Photoprism to perform AI-based facial recognition and categorization of these photos.  Photoprism also includes a search feature, which allows me to seach by a person's name, a location, a description, etc.  Would love an AI-based photo identification and search function, but I suspect that this would be a huge undertaking.

> Jalbum has enabled me to generate my family photo album of roughly 40,000 photos
