> **Pros**: GoLinks made me think of URL shorteners differently. I have long used URL shorteners to share a deep link such as a dashboard, but have never thought that GoLinks add the type-ahead capability to type in my queries and get a matching short URL, pretty much like I use Google Search for a regular website. I think this is the most significant value GoLinks offers to me.
To add deeper thoughts around this point. People may think, well, nothing special - you type in a query and get what you want, which is common to any search. I would say context matters: the things that you search are shortened links, which links to any website, and any deep links (nowadays prevalent). Traditionally they scatter in bookmarks, histories, browsers, notes, and you now have a unified interface to get a hold of them via GoLinks. This innovation is enormous, making it never the same "Search" you thought; instead, this is a Portal, a Gateway to your (or your company's) digital world.
Another strong point for GoLinks is enterprise support. Other providers such as Firebase would publish your shortened links to the public web, which is incompatible with company use. In addition, usage insights are a fun feature that gave me some rewards using it. I like the "Hours Saved," but we don't need to get strict on how they measure the hours.

> **Cons**: The Chrome plugin is kind of faulty. When I create a new GoLink, there are three fields I need to fill in the form: the long link, short link and description. Usually, I would switch tabs back and forth to get all three information from the source website, but the plugin would drop the first field when I came back copied with the second field.
