I love the Google calendar integration and Zoom integration. Those are musts in my line of work, and they save me a lot of time. > > **Cons**: I wish the appointments would show up on my Google calendar and Zoom meetings list with the name of the customer who booked the appointment. I like to look at my appointments at a glance and know who I'm meeting. It's a bit of a pain to have to go into the calendar and add them myself. I also wish that it was possible to have the same employee with more than one location assigned them. I work by phone, Zoom and at my downtown office location, and I had one client who booked me for a Zoom session say she found it confusing that my office was listed for location when she received her booking. I had to modify my location to include all three as possibilities, which just isn't a very clean approach. When we book our clients, we want everything to be crystal clear with no possibility for confusion. Amelia should bear in mind that in some cases, such as salons or yoga studios for example, their employees might float between more than one location, so this feature would be useful to a number of businesses. > > I've not been using Amelia for very long, but I'm happier with it than my previous booking solution, primarily because the interface is more attractive, and because I can integrate with Zoom. I was a bit weary because I read other reviews saying they had a lot of troubleshooting errors and problems with getting everting synced with their calendars correctly. The Amelia tutorials were really extensive and also vague in some areas. They insinuated if something doesn't work...then contact the third party or contact your google administrator. RED FLAGS\!\! My first attempt after setting everything up and I had multiple issues...calendar did not sync, nor did it send notifications. So I tried to reach out to Support last Thursday...and still no reply. I finally decided to try the Calendly free version. Within 30min I had all my calendar integration with zoom and notification up and working with no problem. I'm sure this plugin will work if you have hours of troubleshooting time and help with a web developer...but after seeing how fast Calendly set everything up, I'm sold. > > Because I have yet heard from the company, I hope someone from their sales team will see this post. The website says if you request a refund within 15days they will consider...however I still have not heard from them after sending 2 ticket requests nor received a refund. I do not even receive a confirmation when I send them a ticket. Until I hear back from the company, I would not recommend this to anyone. It's important to note here that these areas are also very customizable and, for most use cases, are likely completely fine. However, we were replacing an existing experience where the presentation of providers, and their detailed profile, was all custom developed and fit into our existing site design perfectly. However, the default experience is still quite good, just wasn't what we needed. This was okay because we decided to leverage their extensive API for keeping our custom presentation while still using the plugin for calendar, scheduling, appointment management, and all of the other excellent features. > > Implementation was quick and easy. Setup and customization was easy and quite good. However, what was even better than the extensive capabilities of the plugin, was their support. They're responsive, patient, and thorough.
