Cloud based means that it mostly takes the worry of cyber security and data storage away from Vet practice owners, so we can focus on treating animals no IT management\! > > **Cons**: I think the invoicing platform is a little clunky and takes much longer than it should. There are many improvements which could be made to make the process more streamlined especially when editing invoices. > > It's generally been very good. Easy to use and reliable. Faults are mostly rectified quickly. Communicating with clients electronically (by SMS or emails) is a breeze and saves a lot of time (less phone calls needed). We can work in Ascend from any device anywhere which means we can see the workflow remotely or from an iPad in clinic to allow us to move with the patient. The features in Ascend allow us to do most tasks from there rather than moving to 3rd party platforms. If you log an issue or question through their support portal on Ascend, you often have to follow this up with a phone call to get someone to look at it. > > Fantastic. Overall they are very helpful.
