> **Pros**: Smartplan is an easy to use platform for day to day planning. It will remind you and give you quick custumer support. Never had any issues or bugs.

Recurring shift patterns can be saved as templates for later use. The system even comes with an built-in staffing assistant, that will present you with the best possible schedule after having taken into account the staffing rules and staff availability.\n\n\nThe system is built upon the interactions between the employees and their designated supervisors by offering extensive Employee Self Service options. Users can actively participate by submitting their preferred working times, requesting absences, execute shift swaps, contact other collegues and adjusting their attendence, if needed. Admins can (but don't necessarily have to) intervene. Users will be notified immediately about any changes affecting them or the rota they are part of via email or a push message on their mobile phone.\n\nSmartplan tracks and documents all the planned working hours as well as actual attendence and absences. Attendence can be registered by the minute through a digital punch clock, which can be used through a device on the premises or as a mobile version via our Smartplan app. Additionally, overtime accounts can be added to the employees in order to monitor that the planned or attended hours correspond to the agreed upon target hours. \n\nApart from accessing the gathered data directly in their Smartplan account, costumers can export the data to Excel for further modifications and analysis purposes. Salary rates and supplements can be registered as well and exported into a salary report in Excel or CSV formats.
