> **Pros**: QuickBooks is a great program for those who are serious about their bookkeeping. Whether you are doing this for yourself or have hired someone to use it for you, it is a great value and once you get a hang of it, the ease of use will impress you.

> **Cons**: As wonderful as it is that it is very comprehensive, it can have a learning curve to get up to speed on using it. Ideal for mid to larger businesses. Small businesses may not need all of its features. However they have great customer support to help you on your way.

> QuickBooks Desktop was great for when you want day to day reporting, and then financial reporting for the month, quarter and year. It does require some time to investing in using it to become more conformable, but once you have you are on your way. It is also great for staying on top of your monthly invoicing.

> **Pros**: The thing we like most about this version is it still allows to manage multiple clients without paying individual subscription and the ability to generate detailed reports helps the small business clients overview their financials with ease.

> **Cons**: The software feels a bit dated if we compare to the online tools. Secondly importing transactions from bank statements is very complicated and crashes the application on many occasions. Lastly limited to the office computer but that is a conscious decision to keep the cost down.

> Overall satisfied with the performance and have rated it 4 stars. The invoicing functionality and reconciliation tools are the most helpful features. Off late the updates have slowed down and there is constant push to move to cloud version.

> **Pros**: Have been using QuickBooks Desktop for years to complete all bookkeeping tasks for my small business.  The software is intuitive and good for general accounting purposes.  I especially like the way QuickBooks pairs with TurboTax at tax time.  The end of year reports are also very helpful.

> **Cons**: My only complaint is the business decision Intuit made to move away from the Desktop product to the QuickBooks Online only product which requires you to purchase an annual license.  Plus, I don't trust having all my financial data in the cloud with the online product.

> Overall, it's good.  And once you've used it for years, it's difficult to move to another bookkeeping software program.
