The platform’s editing environment, Sanity Studio—built with React.js—provides rapid configuration and free form customization for content workflows. This flexible environment allows teams to complete editing while working with reusable, structured content.
The platform enables live multi-user editing, change tracking, real-time collaboration, and more. Its Content Lake allows content to be stored via Sanity’s fully managed cloud and can be accessed via the Sanity API. With the Image Pipeline, images can be uploaded and transformed on demand. It can manage image colors, sizes, geo-location, and other metadata. Other Sanity features include portable text, rule-based designs, live previews, revision history, and more.

Pros
Almost limitless ability to create and customize a CMS. There is a plethora of documentation and video content around building and customizing the platform. The groq query language is a breath of fresh air in comparison to graphql and traversing rest api's
Cons
Custom inputs at the moment are quite difficult to setup and utilize.

Migrated from Contentful to Sanity, for the most part it has been a good experience, it has some features that are better and some that aren't quite up to par but are on their way and look better from what we've been shown.
Pros
Easy to implement, lots of active development, good developers that can provide great support.
Cons
Still young, a few major features coming, but not available yet.

I have worked with other CMS tools and this one was much harder for me to utilize. I switched from contentful which I prefer, the cost was just too much.
Pros
i love that you can collaborate and customize together in real-time, it made it perfect for our company because we have global employees.
Cons
There is a really steep learning curve if you are not already a developer. It can be quite complicated and complex, and technical experience is required.
