Another negative aspect is that with certain antiviruses its recording stops, this can be very frustrating, since you don't realize it and you have to start the screen recording again. > > In general, it is a useful and practical software to use, a person without technical knowledge can learn to use it from the first time, it saves the videos in the cloud and integrates very well with Camtasia. ----- ### "Great software for normal humans" — 5.0/5 > **Mike** | *December 26, 2024* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Easy to use, easy to learn and very stable. > > **Cons**: No real weaknesses unless you think it's going to replace Photoshop. > > After almost four years I find I use it pretty much on a daily business to prep or capture web images fo a variety of sites. ----- ### "Absolutely love Snagit\!" — 3.0/5 > **Ashley** | *April 19, 2024* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I've been a user for over 10 years. I wouldn't use another program, no matter the cost or no cost. I love being able to quickly create mock-ups, screenshots, and videos for my profession. I'm in development. So being able to quickly show my team where something went wrong or a copy issue, it's invaluable. > > **Cons**: There are some things lacking. While taking videos, there aren't a lot of things you were able to do until just recently. I think Snagit has been evolving for a long time and they should be further in the development of the product overall. The Snagit library seems to get confused from time to time too. After a restart, all my captures will be in different order. The rolling capture sometimes doesn't want to work. So there are bugs that do need to be addressed. > > Overall, I'm still in love with the product and if a company I work for won't expense it, I pay for it myself. That's how much I rely on Snagit every day. Whether it's to take a video of a new feature working perfectly to taking a screenshot of my developer's code and pinpointing the \`blame\`, it's the quickest and easiest platform you could ever use. Juts buy it and go about your day. You won't regret it. ----- ### "Snagit - great editing product" — 4.0/5 > **paul** | *December 12, 2024* | Logistics & Supply Chain | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: lots of flexibility when cutting/pasting images \& editing > > **Cons**: wish i could import CAD or PDF to edit to make life easier > > great; i used to use windows snippit \& found it limiting ----- ### "Very comprehensive tool for screen capture and editing." — 4.0/5 > **Beatriz** | *November 30, 2024* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: I really like the video recording option\! The OCR is very usefull as well. I like that is very customizable and user friendly. > > **Cons**: It does not have video editing features or cloud storage for large files. > > I only use the trial version and I'm considering start paying for this software as my experience was very positive. ----- Page: 1 / 21\ Next: [Next page](https://www.getapp.ca/software/2049552/snagit?page=2) ## Links - [View on GetApp](https://www.getapp.ca/software/2049552/snagit) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-MX | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Structured Data
