As a very small solo private practice owner, it has been a great experience and I look forward to Carepatron's updates and new features\! > > **Cons**: It was a bit difficult to navigate sending forms and onboarding patients at first. There are some features I wish we had, such as a tasks list of notes that need to be completed or form automations. Patients and I have also had some issues with the telehealth platform in the past. I do wish the picture-in-picture is a bit more flexible. Thankfully, you can integrate other platforms like Google Meet or Zoom. Lastly, I had difficulty figuring out how to write off (for a discounted session) because any time you write off an amount it still shows it as uninvoiced, which I thought it meant I need to invoice or it's a task to do? > > My overall experience with Carepatron has been positive. I honestly can't complain with the price point and what they have to offer. It's a newer platform and has a lot of potential to grow. I do appreciate the AI use, although I don't use it for recording sessions. Multiple times, i have been in the telehealth room and so have my clients and yet we are not connected. I know some of this might be the internet’s fault, but it seems like i have to find alternative meeting method often (a couple times a week) bc carepatron video chat is glitching or not connecting properly. This is the most frustrating bc then I have to waste a lot of time rebooting or trouble shooting and then we just end up moving over to google meet or having a phone call. Not ideal and can feel unprofessional. > > I love carepatron\! Documenting client notes is also super seamless and easy. I like the sections that we can add into the notes and forms. It makes it a super user friendly experience for clients and for myself when taking notes. The appointment reminders are also really timely. For the price, to be getting invoiving, forms, video calls, scheduling and note taking all in one platform this is really a better choice for me personally than apps like jane that would charge me so much more for a less user friendly and less visually appealing platform > > **Cons**: - It would be nice if the invoices could allow two default taxes because I live in a place that charges two taxes automatically - Sometimes my clients have mentioned to me that it's hard for them to access the carepatron link/ it maybe asks them to log in when they click on the carepatron video link so sometimes i have to switch to google meet to accomodate them, but i don't experience their side of things so i'm unsure what the issue is but yeah sometimes the carepatron link is finicky - For scheduling I wish I could automatically have the option to set a maximum number of clients that can book in a day. I could just block off times myself in my calendar but it would reduce my mental load significantly if it was just built in as an option - My major con is that the invoices can't automatically be sent to clients after a session. Carepatron makes an invoice/billable automatically after the session but because I have to add my second tax in addition to the default tax, I have to delete the billable and make a blank invoice > > Overall, the pros outweigh the cons for me. The fact that intake forms are built in with video conferencing, invoicing, scheduling and note taking makes it so that i don't have to use another separate service. Everything is in carepatron and that's hard to find at this price. So I appreciate it greatly. Like I mentioned, there are things I would love to see improve but i get that it's likely not easy ot change certain things that are that specific. Overall, thank you\!
