SOLABS is central to our day to day work. It is a reliable system with many features to facilitate the document control and training assignment. We enjoy working with SOLABS team! They are fun and always treat us as valuable clients. We feel important and this is something crucial when it comes to select a EQMS. They continue adding more and more features and it's exciting to see what's coming.
Pros
The DCP feature is very robust. It facilitates the control of documents and allow for automation of tasks (with edit checks to indicate if similar process exist in the system). The training module integrated to document management module, the reports available in SOLABS Sharepoint are very useful and easy to produce, reminder notifications to managers for training of their employees, etc.
Cons
The layout (text display, actions buttons) could be improved. Also, it would be great to have the possibility to set pre-requisite trainings and training modules.

Pros
Customer service is excellent. The team is always available, open to ideas, collaborative and genuine. All of that allows for processes to be as close to individual needs as it can.
Cons
Some features are less configurable which implies having to fill out fields with information that is irrelevant. Also, I would add a touch of color to the overall system!

We were using a paper-based system for SOPs and forms, which required lots of running around the office retrieving outdated versions when we revised docs. We got this system to achieve positive control of quality documents, and also got a training system tied to the documentation system.
Pros
Coordination of quality document management system with training system. The core app provides for document creation, editing, review, and approval, and it will also allow you to set up training for each person. The training is tracked and can easily provide feedback to supervisors on the status of the training of their direct reports.
Cons
Lacks two key features (soon to be fixed): no back button and some lists don't alphabetize. The lack of a back button functionality sometimes requires several clicks and page refreshes just to go back one page. Some lists of individuals are not alphabetized, requiring long scrolling in a small window to find the name you want.

Pros
Our company's experience with this EQMS application has been very positive. It has good functionality and user experience, performance, scalability, and security. We are also using the Change Control (P0036) process and found it easy to adapt from paper-based to the electronic process. It is a very stable application and backed with great customer support when needed.
Cons
Requires initial training, but once done it saves us time in the long term by using a well structured interface.
