The app is very easy to set-up, to help students register, to create and utilize customized rubrics, monitor when students have completed assignments, and fun platforms to provide both written and video feedback. The ability to customize each class to meet the needs of the presenters (live, or recorded with screen-share or uploaded and timed slides) is excellent. The customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend this app for communication instructors for both in-class and online teaching. I know that it can also be used with BlackBoard - to integrate the grade books - to save time by not having to upload grades for assignments manually in both. And, the helpful link for registering students - inviting via emails - is great too: as students are often overwhelmed at the beginning of the semester to set up the needed platforms for each online class. > > **Cons**: Most of the uploaded materials allowed have to be in a PDF format - so this does, at times, limit what students can attach to their assignments. Accessing it was difficult for many of them (we had it bundled in software from SAGE publishing.) The scoring function didn't always work. > > Overall, I decided to jettison GoReact for this Spring. Additionally, I used the program in college, while I was studying to become an ASL interpreter. I have tried several other products and they are much more time intensive, glitchy, or require me to do a lot more "hand holding" to get users up and running to use the software. It just works, and does a great job at doing that. Finally they have incorporated several additional features over the years without burdening the program with unnecessary bells and whistles. The video quality is great, and the ease is use is through the roof a plus. The company is also very interactive with administrators, checking to make sure expectations are satisfied, and meeting to explore other usage options if necessary. > > **Cons**: Nothing- I have used it for over 6 years, and have no regrets or complaints. If I ever had questions, I have been always given a prompt and live response from the company. > > I use goreact for group presentations and for public speaking presentations in classes that I teach online and in seat.
