Great service and support. The system keeps on opening up new opportunities for the business with regards to digitising processes, forms and workflows etc.
Pros
The system is user friendly and the available functions allow us to create many workflows that support our business processes. Our processes are clear and transparent to the whole business for each user at every level. The reporting function is very beneficial for monitoring and managing.
Cons
External persons (supplier/customer) not being able to save a form sent from SmartProcess, to send at a later date. As this means the user must complete the form in one go, which can be challenging when the forms are lengthy.

Pros
I like the new front-end that came along with the update in June 2018. Especially the document management system is very handy and simplifies my job in the quality department.
Cons
There are periods when the software is somewhat slowly. A few features are missing, like some field functions to readout ALL information you want into your documents.

System is good and easy to implement. So far we are very pleased to the system and we are looking forward to develop more functionalities by workflows.
Pros
The system is easy to use and very well supports process modeling with documentation control. The system also has workflows that make it easy to manage processes. One big advantage of the system is the local system administrator and the possibility to modify workflows, forms, etc. without having to contact the system supplier every time. A big success with CWA is their support function, which works really well and most of the times you get a response within a couple of hours.
Cons
There are some weaknesses in system to allow users filter their tasks in home page to show only the tasks where instant actions are required. Now Filtering can be done in cases, but filter doesn´t apply to home page. Other weakness what causes sometimes a lot of wasting time when creating new forms in workflows. When there is fields with same name it is really difficult to select correct one. This causes forms to not working at all or even crash the workflow totally This weakness could be fixed with visible field codes which are unique, then it is easy to use same source field in all places without temporary naming.
Reasons for Switching to SmartProcess
Smartprocess was able to meet most of our requirements and the system seemed easy to use. Smartprocess also had configurable workflows, which was a huge advantage for the future development of the system. The pricing was also at the right level that the company could afford, if the system had been more expensive, we would not have been able to invest in it.Response from CWA

CWA SmartProcess is our tool for knowledge management focussing on business processes. All our processes are mapped in this tool, it is a key part of our Quality management system and is esential for our ISO 9001 certification including the recent transition to the newest standard.
Pros
The tool is very flexible, easy to use and pretty straightforward. It can easily be customized and provides a very good overview about all our processes.
Cons
Some users were struggling a bit when using the process explorer to design processes, but this could be solved rather quick.

The process modelling is intuitive and helpful in both the design period and for users. The customisation options give a plenty of flexibility. Document management options are easy to use and great for organising controlled documents.
Cons
It is not always easy to find the correct settings that you need to change and the workflow management takes time to get used to.
