
About RAMP
RAMP is a cloud-based automobile workshop management software that helps businesses streamline operations related to customer registrations, financial reporting, vendor management, payment processing, and more. The booking diary allows staff members to create bookings, assign tasks, prepare estimates, generate invoices, and send progress updates.
RAMP's customer relationship management module enables supervisors to automatically schedule follow-ups, maintain service history, track due dates, and send custom offers and promotions. Team leaders can create job cards with details, such as customer name, vehicle type, required tasks, notes, and more. Managers and leaders can generate reports to gain insight into average turnaround time, monthly service counts, total profit or loss, spare-part costs, and daily revenue, among other categories.
RAMP enables leaders to configure the platform in multiple languages and manage workshops in multiple locations. Administrators can set-up user roles and permissions, restricting employees from accessing specific information. It also lets technicians maintain an inventory database for spares and consumables items, automatically update stock, and receive low inventory alerts.

Pros
easily create virtual credit cards in a few minutes linked to GL accounts and client jobs in Quickbooks Online.
Cons
Virtual cards are accepted everywhere but would be helpful if the system could generate credit card image for the retailers that require "front & back of credit card"

Great at cutting administrative costs. Steep learning curve for some, but relatively simple to pick up. Would recommend to anyone leaning towards cloud-based administration / record keeping.
Pros
This is a great tool to cut down on administrative costs for auto shops. Working closely with a ford dealership, I was able to recommend they use this software as they were lacking in their documentation control. The software was easy enough to set up and understand for most of the guys in the shop. It has a great cloud based system which allows you to access the information you post from any computer, so that's been a big help for customers who call in requesting specific information about any service they have received.
Cons
While most of the younger guys picked up on the software quite easily, it took some time for the older generation to get up to speed. This program just has so many features and tiny details, that it was hard for the older, less tech-savvy guys to understand. While it was a step learning curve for these guys, they eventually picked up on it and it has been a great success. Better tutorials, aimed at non tech-savvy people would be a big help.

At Tvara, we've been looking to implement a workshop management solution for a while and we had narrowed down to a UK based provider when we cam across Ramp and decided to go in for it.
Its extremely intuitive to use and since the last month of us having implemented it, we have been able to manage our workshop far more efficiently with insights we couldn't have imagined earlier.
The biggest plus point of RAMP is its ease of use compared to other solutions on the market. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into the user experience and this is really going to benefit workshop managers who have never used any sort of management software before.
The team has been quick to implement suggestions/requirements from our side and I have no doubt in my mind that every workshop will gain tremendously with RAMP.
Have ranked 4 stars in features and functionality to encourage the team to push further.
