Workpath Overview

Workpath is a cloud-based solution, with web and mobile applications, that provides healthcare organizations a HIPAA compliant workforce management and appointment scheduling system. Workpath streamlines order management functionality by allowing orders to be placed directly in the Workpath system, via EHR system, web links, or online forms, thus eliminating errors derived from outdated intake methods - phone, email, and fax. Ordering capabilities are made available to anyone that your organization chooses to provide access to. that f Managers, office staff, or dispatchers are more easily able to manage your workforce in once, central location. Once all of your employees and contractors accept their invitations to join the system, you are able to record and track all of their certifications, licenses and training in order to maintain regulatory and contractual compliance. Employees and contractors have the ability to either create their own schedule or have their schedule assigned by managers.

Appointments, assignments, or shifts are then scheduled directly into a centralized calendar, with the work opportunities posted out to multiple people where appropriate. Whether you assign or offer work, Workpath accommodates how you manage the distribution of work. If you assign work, a tagging feature combined with smart matching algorithms allows the system to help your team auto-assign work requests to the available, appropriately trained, and most qualified team members. Alternatively, if you offer work to your team, the same tagging feature and smart matching algorithms help the system determine the available, nearby, and qualified workers, and share the opportunity with all of those workers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Workpath tracks and displays all appointment or shift statuses in real time with updates shown on your organization's dashboard. Notification support posts status updates, appointment or shift changes, and workforce requests to your staff. End user communication includes the sending of email and text confirmation and reminder messages to ensure that work is performed timely. Step-by-step procedures, required equipment, and necessary supplies are each customized for each of the services that your organization offers. Each field can all be defined into the system and you can create sharable service request order forms for your clients, customers, patients, or other orderers to request specific services.

Workpath is also joined by a companion application for iOS and Android devices, giving field staff access to schedules, job assignments, work locations, appointment/shift details, and available work opportunities. The Workpath mobile applications allow your staff and your customers or clients to stay informed with transparent information and real-time updates from the field.

Pros

We started tracking our OKRs with Workpath in April 2016. Since then, we have almost doubled in size and are now 140 employees. For us, Workpath is a great fit because it's a very flexible and powerful tool, yet it's kept intuitive and "clean" and helped us communicating our goals, especially with new colleagues quickly.

Cons

A mobile app would be great! I'm also looking forward to having a feature to customise the reports that I can download.
