It's true: after the first 15 minutes of working with pixx.io, you will never want to work without it again. I use pixxio internally for the management of my files as a Marketing Manager and I also use the press portal for external stakeholders. For our wholesale customers, press contacts and sales representatives of KOKON the portal is a large enrichment. You can quickly look at all our collections and products and if necessary, you can download the photos as easy as online shopping. Customers can also select the files and find them better by optimizing the keywords. This is how our customers are inspired and can immediately use the images for their web presence and social media accounts. I can 100% recommend pixxio and especially the new press portal.

There are no cons. If any problems occur the pixx.io team are more than grateful to help solve the problem.

Hier können wir unsere Bilder anständig verwalten. Durch die eigene Verschlagwortung und Lizenzvergabe können wir die Bilder über die Suchfunktion schnell und unkompliziert wieder finden. Auch eine Weitergabe der Bilder über die Kollektionen oder das Bildportal ist ohne Probleme möglich! Sind sehr zufrieden!

Für jeden eigenen Benutzer muss man extra bezahlen. Für uns wäre ein Paket besser indem z.B. bis zu 5 Nutzer inkludiert sind. So arbeiten wir jetzt zu fünft mit zwei Benutzern. Meist funktioniert dies auch ohne Probleme und Überschneidungen, aber manchmal ist es lästig.

With pixxio we manage our entire spectrum of image, video and audio files in a considerable number of file formats and from various sources (e.g. photographers, stock portals). Whether for media import, metadata, the sophisticated license management, the extensive search functions, the download in social media or for brochures - the program, which can be set to German and English, fulfills all the functions that we as an organization need and remains intuitively operable at every level. Web can access pixxio also via an app that we use at events. Whether for category or folder structures - the program offers many possibilities for individualization, the rights management can be very finely tuned. Pixxio has been easily integrated into our CMS (Drupal), offers plugins for all relevant programs (e.g. Photoshop) and guarantees the highest level of security for our sensitive data. Analogous to the program, the accessibility of the support is excellent: It reacts within the shortest time, is competent and dedicated. In addition to email and telephone, more complex questions can be solved quickly using Team Viewers. For us, the software means an extraordinary time saving and a qualitative "quantum leap" in administration, search and legally secure use of the above-mentioned files, which we need for our daily work in editorial and public relations, for inquiries, presentations, social media and the creation of brochures - and that at an excellent price-performance ratio.

The internal sharing of collections is not really self-explanatory

Die intuitive Bedienung erleichtert den Einstieg sehr. Auch die Performance als Gesamtsystem ist absolut top. Wir haben die Cloud-Version mittels Single Sign-On für unsere Kollegen angebunden, die Integration war innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt.

Die Überarbeitung von Versionen und Varianten ist ein Schritt nach vorne. Hier muss aber noch unbedingt an der Verzahnung etwas getan werden.

- Bilder können nur einmal in einem Ordner gespeichert werden. Beispiel: Wir haben zwei Zimmerkategorien, die man zusammenlegen kann. Somit entsteht eine dritte Zimmerkategorie. Dafür haben wir auch drei Ordner angelegt. Nun kann ich allerdings Bilder von Kategorie 1 und 2 nicht in die dritte Kategorie kopieren. Hierfür können nur Kollektionen verwendet werden.
