> **Pros**: We needed a newsroom engine to power our existing outputs - we supply 5,000+ news media customers with upwards of 3,700 articles, 1,700 photos and 60 videos a day - and to allow us to create novel products to serve the latest apps and platforms as they emerge. Superdesk integrates with our legacy systems while enabling us to develop new products and tools against its APIs to our hearts content. ANSA workflows are many and varied; Superdesk lets journalists define these as they wish to suit everything from rapid-turnaround breaking news to long-form, even collaboratively produced, features and analyses. The power of Elasticsearch to watch out for and act on the receipt, or creation, of content matching sophisticated queries puts Superdesk light years ahead of other tools. We don't see ourselves as Superdesk customers but as partners: our input is taken into account as features are enhanced and as further components are added.
