About Praxis EMR

Praxis is an award-winning, easy to use, artificial intelligence (AI) based EMR/EHR that has no cumbersome templates. Templates slow charting down, impede medical quality, and hurt usability. Praxis EMR is the only (EMR/EHR) software that helps medical practitioners, physicians and doctors generate custom documents and reports in their own words and individual style of writing, rather than using pre-defined templates.

Praxis EMR uses artificial intelligence technology, called concept processing, to learn the medical practitioner's style. The application studies the medical practitioner's way of making a chart and adapts itself to emulate their style of writing medical prescriptions. Concept learning helps medical practitioners complete complex patient cases in a timely manner, and therefore attend to more patients.

Praxis EMR helps physicians in clinical studies, drug trials, and multi-center clinical investigations by providing features such as a query engine and dataminer. The query engine makes it easy for physicians to comply with reporting requirements and MACRA, and allows physicians to develop their own queries without technical knowledge. Queries created in the software can then be exported and shared with third parties.

Praxis EMR supports multi-deployment options, with medical practitioners and clinics able to choose between cloud-based and on-premise deployment. The billing interface provides users the flexibility to trade-up or change the billing solution as per the clinic's requirements. The billing interface can also integrate with other solutions given the client's preferences.

Best EMR I've used to date

Pros

Intuitive features that allow the provider to optimally customize to his/her practice's needs. Great support to help with set up and fine tuning as time goes on. Interface set up for billing providers as well as for hospital lab/radiology was seamless.

Cons

Nothing so far has been a negative. Great product and support.

An EMR That Easily Grows & Changes To Suit My Needs

Praxis has become an essential partner of my practice, not just a software provider. I know many of the employees and I've even been contacted by the [sensitive content hidden] to be sure all was well. My career is over 30 years and I've used probably dozens of EMR programs. I almost universally disliked them all, except Praxis. Praxis is dynamic, flexible, mature, and easily modifiable by end users. It stands far above other EMRs I've used.

Pros

Two major criteria that led me to select Praxis was the following. 1) I hate to repeat myself. I wanted an EMR that allowed me to develop diagnostic and treatment plans that reflect my style of care without having to repeat large groups of text for each patient with similar problems. And 2) I wanted to be certain that all problems are monitored to resolution. Praxis tracks and monitors problems over time and automates patient communication and recall. A perfect solution, and it keeps getting better.

Cons

I've not encountered any major problems or concerns. Should I have any problems, customer support is consistent, reliable and quick.

Great EHR!

Pros

As a Medical billing company, it is great to be able to have my customers referred to a cost effective and easy to use platform for their EHR. The interface works amazing and it helps the providers focus more on the patient.

My experience has been great. Like with all EHRs, it takes getting used to. But my trainer has been great and my onboarding team is always available and keeps me updated with any open tickets I may have

Pros

I like that I can customize anything within the system. I like that all my suggestions are considered. And best of all I can actually get in contact with someone when needed

Cons

At first it seemed like it lacked some of the key features I wanted from my EHR. But one email to my trainer and the [sensitive content hidden] and the feature was under way to being integrated. No excuses as to why it can’t be done, I frequently heard from this from other EHRs, just action!

Best EMR for physicians

With praxis I have no complaints it’s just the way medicine has come to at this stage

The ease of use, not having to click on each point , I am able to free write notes on specified patient and it will save to that specific patient or also save in general for patients with similar diagnosis
