The baseline application is adaptable to most clients' business needs with minimal to moderate effort. For more complex corporations, with multiple business units with individual needs, the Intelex platform is an extremely flexible solution that allows us to configure and tweak the solution to meet their needs. I like how it can automate our compliance workflow across our various locations. > > **Cons**: Because it's so beefy, it can be extremely cumbersome to learn and customize. I also dislike that you need to be very proactive with it. For example, updates don't automatically push; you need to proactively put in a support ticket for it. Moreover it takes a fair amount of tech savviness in order to customize the platform. Finally, the test environment doesn't seem to mirror production, so it's not completely reliable for seeing what the final product may look like. > > It's both gratifying and frustrating.
