About WooCommerce
Designed for small to large-scale online vendors, WooCommerce is an open-source eCommerce plugin for WordPress. The WooCommerce platform allows any WordPress user to set up a basic online store, completely free (additional plug-ins and customization modules are chargeable).
Users can sell anything from tangible items to music files to time and services. They can develop their own plugins to add new functionality to their online store or buy a pre-made plugin from the WooCommerce store.
Shipping cost and sales tax calculation for anywhere in the world is done automatically with WooCommerce. The WooCommerce store management interface allows users to manage their store on the go. Inventory updates and product management don't require any experience or knowledge of coding.

I've been working with this system for years now, and i learnt how to develop new functions, work with its hooks, customize everything. So, for me, it would be difficult to switch to another product right now. It integrates perfectly with wordpress and use same mechanisms, so i find working with it very compfortable.
Pros
That is free, is open source and have a lot of integrations.
Cons
Out of the box, according to me, misses some important features that should have been standard.

I have tried various ecommerce platforms, but none of them compare to Woocommerce. Whenever I set up websites for clients, I always choose Woocommerce for their ecommerce needs. Based on my extensive experience testing popular ecommerce platforms, I can confidently say that Woocommerce is the best option. I highly recommend it, especially for beginners or users with limited technical ability. It is powerful, comprehensive, and works flawlessly. Throughout all my usage, I have never encountered any glitches or disappointments.
Pros
I love how reliable, easy-to-use, and beginner friendly it is - in particular for an experienced WordPress user.
Cons
It is a bit on the pricey side if you want to add any of their featured plugins.

Pros
Semi-"native" to WordPress environment.
Great for beginners with a small inventory and a limited number of unique SKUs.
It's a good choice for people who will outsource inventory management and/or their ecom-web-dev.
Cons
Ease of use is nearly non-existent, great for low-level customization ecom stores.

I like the most it’s price range and affordability
Cons
It wasn’t easy to set up a lot of things. Got a comment from a customer: the worst checkout process she’s ever been through.

A cheaper option but with too much stress
Reviewed on 2023-11-26
Pros
What I like most about Woocommerce is that it is easy on the pocket. I can start an ecommerce project with little to no money and Woocommerce will help me take off on the right foot.
Cons
The thing I like least about woocommerce is the data security and intergration with other tools. Too many bugs that make it a not-very-goo-option for the less tech savvy.
