Pros

Easy to use, clear and very reactive and adaptable. Best feature is the mailings that can target specific groups or non returners.
Every time i do a mailing i get lots of bookings online.

Cons

Their draconian GDPR. The unsubscribe button is often mistaken for the attached file so then the pt unsubscribes and moans at me as i havent sent them their receipt. Which is now impossible for them to receive. They need another prompt saying If you unsubscribe you wont ever get a receipt or appointment reminder. Do you really want that?

As for the unsubscribe link in your emails, this can easily be resolved by switching to using your own SMTP details rather than our default ones. If you pop our support team an email they can help you to make this change and hopefully it will improve your client's experience and avoid accidental unsubscribes!

Pros

PPS is great for managing your healthcare business across the board with good patient records section and strong account management

Cons

PPS does not always link with the prominent exercise tools software available at market

Pros

Online tech support is very good, but frustrating that phone support isnt as accessible as it used to be.

Cons

Bugs that never get fixed, system failings that don't get addressed, lots of aspects of the system that never get improved so its very time consuming to use.

On a daily basis, it helped me schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing and invoicing efficiently. I had stated it was old-fashioned but got the job done.

Pros

It has an advanced billing and invoicing system, which is one of its best features. The system creates invoices automatically, tracks payments, and simplifies billing procedures for easy financial management. It guarantees reliable and up-to-date financial records and eliminates the workload for administrators like myself!

Cons

Its older-fashioned than most software today, but it gets the job done

Outstanding - mainly because Rushcliffe our provider has excellent backup support and always there if I need them.

Pros

Ease of use. Makes every day admin tasks simple and quick. All patient records held in one place, no need for any paper in the practice. Accounting made easy and simple to keep a track of outstanding accounts. Setting up of email templates is a breeze - I could go on.

Cons

The only con I have is that the online patient registration form is not easy for the patient to complete - far more complicated that it needs to be in particular the drop down dates for date of birth is hard to get.

I was able to learn how to use it fairly quickly, there was a good level of support

Sending emails has been problematic, we must cut and paste emails for records as we don't use the emails in PPS. Uploading data sets has always been a bit clunky but resolvable

There is a solution that will remove the need for you to copy and paste your emails that our support team can assist you with by simply swapping our default SMTP details with your own. Making this change would mean all outgoing emails from PPS can be seen in your email client's sent box, this might make it easier for you to use the built-in email facility and save you a few extra steps.

Pros

The basic functions are easy to use once set up. The email support service is generally helpful but only if you can ignote problems for a day or two at a time. It was a great pity that they abolished their telephone support when they all started to work from home instead.

Cons

A nightmare to work with online. Constantly logs out and takes ages to go through ridiculously cumbersome login procedures a dozen or more times each day. Very complicated and non-intuitive accounting functions. Difficult to design forms. Poor integration between hosted and express versions.

Pros

Familiarity. We are using the systems since 2006.

Cons

It is not very intuitive. I have trialled other systems which are much easier to use. To set up something new on PPS therecare a lot of steps back and forth through Tools. I generally need to ask support as I then to forget.

The customer service is outstanding. No matter what you need help with big or small the team are always on hand and quick to respond. We have been with PPS for over 20 years and honestly would not change. We very rarely have any problems its an great product and easy to use.

Cons

Everything is at your finger tips. From Patient history to booking appointments it is all very user friendly.

Pros

Has greatly improved the efficiency of our practice with online booking and mobile access so made it much easy to manage bookings even away from work. Appointment reminders have greatly reduced forgotten or missed appointments too. Easy to block out times.

Cons

Cost jumps quite quickly if adding more than one practitioner. Can sometimes seem to log out without realizing so just circles on booking screen. Then have to manually log out and log back in

Only practice software we've had, we'd done everything on paper till we installed it in 2011. We have considered changing when other companies run promotions but always come to the conclusion that we're getting good value and service.

Pros

Most functionality easy to setup/amend and provides information in a clearly.

I generally think that PPS covers most if not all of our needs and is user friendly. New members of staff sometimes can take a long time to get to grips with everything but the support staff are excellent.

Pros

The diary and appointments function are great and easy to use, but I particularly like that we can use PPS for everything we need from invoicing to client contact to marketing.

Cons

Sometimes due to pop up information boxes, it takes a longer time than I would like to complete a simple task.

lost the ability to produce reports in graph form which i found useful when it was available
Seems to be too easy for clients to unknowingly unsibscribe to emails which means they then dont get appointment confirmations etc

It's been very good for many years but appears to be becoming a little clunky of late.

Appearance. Ease of moving around the features.

Cons

Drop-down lists don't work properly and haven't for years.
The database has reached a size where backups no longer work. Backups now have to carried out using an external zip application. This is a new problem and really is irritating.

Not great. Currently due to viewing restrictions caused by being unable to view two rooms side by side, we are constantly having to look at rooms vertically scrolling which is causing eye strain. Needs to be addressed.

Pros

Once set up should work sufficiently for our use.

Cons

Unable to view two rooms side by side, simply because PPS cannot add more columns from 7 to 10. Little issued which should be easily solved by PPS.
