As a user in my opinion and commonly cited by alot of users , I like Microsoft Access for its user-friendly interface, ease of creating databases, and its ability to manage and analyze data without requiring advanced programming skills. The integration with other Microsoft Office applications and the flexibility it provides in creating forms, reports, and queries are commonly cited as positive aspects by users.

While Microsoft Access has its strengths, there are some limitations and drawbacks to consider:

An easy Database application, for students and teachers. I have used it in my class very efficient.

Some features are difficult to find in the beginning, but using it often it gets better and user friendlier.

Very cheap to procure, program and deploy. Very good if used by a team of less than 4 people.

Not suitable to be deployed on the internet. All 3 of us use the Microsoft Access database from the same computer.

If we have an issue with something, you guys look at and fix it right away

We’re still having issues uploading certain items we need

the software has been better for me especially when I can use it in building data analysis features and the security in the software is great.
also, the great thing I love is the fact that there is automation and macros in the system which makes work much easier.

The thing I do not like is the limited web application development where I can not be able to build or develop apps. also the file size limitation of 2 GB

Using this software made it simple for entry, making lists, running reports, ect.

It was a little on the manual side for most things that you needed to initially set up

I find it really useful as a database to link lots of spreadsheets when there is a lot of data. With Microsoft being a popular software of various applications having a familiar layout and to link to Excel spreadsheets is good. The queries that can be made is very useful to make things quicker

Those that need huge amounts of storage may find this gets a bit slow. But still holds a lot!

Comes with an interactive GUI unlike other database. Can be considered enterprise level database due to its functionality. It can easily be integrated with Office applications.

It's primarily for Window applications and can support limited number of concurrent users access

Microsoft Access includes most small and medium businesses' needs, we programed small applications with small efforts and smoothly.

Microsoft Access is limited with the number of records, so some days will stop working.

Security concerns: Although Access provides security features, it may not offer the same level of security as dedicated enterprise database management systems. Access databases may be more susceptible to security vulnerabilities if not properly secured and maintained.

What we like about this software is the UI that helps the non tech to easily understand what they need and where to find. For us tech person behind, we like the of ease implementation and maintenance.

So far nothing hate about this product. Everything from Microsoft is good and useful tools.

I used it frequently at work, the most I like about this software is relatively easy to use especially for beginners who wish to start learning how to run report for data management. Fairly speaking, users are required some understandings on table structure and database connections before start using this product. I found it interesting though as I have been using MS Access past 15 years with my current job, and I still find that there are many more to learn of this software.

One thing I came across the compatibility issue with MS Access, e.g. when IT created a brand new table with SQL, and I am using Oracle to connect the newly created table, and for some reason MS Access unable to open up the table although I can connect the new table without issue.
In short, I can use MS Access to connect the table, but can not open the table in MS Access. Our IT support team can open the same table with SQL though.
I have a feeling this may have something to do with Windows 10 settings, but I am not that technically enough to troubleshoot, unfortunately our IT support group couldn't figure out my problem even now.
The reason why I said I have feeling to do with Windows 10, it is because prior my company upgrade our OS to Windows 10, I am able to connect tables without any issues, and after OS upgraded and then IT created some new tables during new projects deployment, then I stared having issue with those newly created table.

My favorite thing about Access is that it works well with Excel, and I like to transfer my tables from Access to Excel so I can do data manipulation on them and then return them to Access. Of course there's more risk in operating in this manner but it also enables me to do things that would be difficult or impossible with Access alone.

There's limits on field sizes when moving back and forth between Excel and Access that are frustrating and seem to me to be unnecessary with our modern, higher powered computers.

Very clean and mostly easy to use, very efficient for users.

Often, the software is not yet completely clear or has an old design, which raises errors and questions for the user.

Microsoft Access is very user-friendly for my business it makes it easy for me and simple to use

No anomaly detected, everything is perfect

Price. Access is a decent database platform for organizations with uncomplicated membership and low budget.

Trying to see more data is hard - Access doesn’t give pretty charts or good data analysis options. Also it’s hard to track changes to records.

I work on Access for 3 years and show that it help me to manage the data perfectly

User need tutorial before using it and some time changing the version is not a good idea

It's user interface makes it easy to user and manage databases, easy to make reports

Although it is one of highly recommended tools It is just not ideal for team use
