Propel will LAUNCH You Forward in Your Workplace

Great program, definitely needed if using Salesforce.
Great program, definitely needed if using Salesforce.
Pros
Propel does just that. It "propels" the work you do by streamlining items in one system. It provides for easily accessed design reviews, change order management, and it integrates with Salesforce platform which is very useful if your company uses Salesforce.
Cons
It is somewhat reliant on Salesforce, and overall it has the ability to maximize tools but takes some training to understand.

The overall experience has been good. The product is easy to use and offers a lot of customizability. Very happy!
Pros
I think Propel is a great product. I like the ease of use, BOM layout, ECO process, and customizability.
The Customer Success team is FANTATIC! They go above and beyond to help us at every turn.
Cons
The export of the BOMs needs some refinement, the ability to have Revisions on the BOMs is a critical need that is not available in Propel.

Ok, Some things are very good and I like. Others such as changes to page layout function, permissions and e-sig is a hassle.
Pros
versioning controls and options available for different business needs.
Cons
Signing off is an issue for many users. Causes frustration, lockouts, late training and lack of compliance as users just give up and ignore.

Very positive. I learned it very quickly since there were only two of us who performed the V+V.
Pros
For starters, having an eQMS is wonderful! I don't know what other similar products are out there, but I know that Propel gives us everything we need and the support team is very good and always super helpful. The team that created Propel thought of everything. I like the salesforce platform as well. (by comparison, we also use NetSuite and I'm not too fond of the underlying Oracle platform)
Cons
Not everyone can recall/reject a change control record. Sometimes, when a user needs to bring a record back to initial state, they have to call us (Quality dept) to move it back. But this might be in our setup, I don't know if it's a feature of Propel.
Response from Propel Software
Thanks for your review Chris! Stay tuned for our new feature rollouts :)

Having worked on other PLM tools, I find Propel is simple yet effective to use. It's extremely easy to use and implement, particularly if Salesforce is being used in the organization. I have seen new great features being added every release. It's been great so far with our Propel journey.
Pros

Salesforce integration is ready

We are excited to be part of Propels growth, and our collaboration with your team has been a delight. Propel has challenged us to come up with an amazing system to fit our niche needs and working to build custom solutions has been a great experience for our team.
Pros
Our end users have never been happier since we have migrated to Propel. Daily, they are thinking of ways to implement new modules or make improvements to the existing ones! Instead of complaining about an archaic system, they are excited to build our custom solution.
Cons
Determining what is Propel specific and what is Salesforce native takes some time getting used to.
Reasons for Choosing Propel
Our legacy system was overconfigured and was no longer serving our needs, we had outgrown the original build and it was unable to keep up with our growth.Switched From

Ive had a smooth "end user" experience with Propel as its very self explainatory and user friendly. Very easy to figure out if you are at all slightly familiar with operating systems. I have only had challenges with getting clear and direct communication from our Propel support and leadership team when it comes to me asking for full viability and access to all of the modules includes in our licenses.
Pros
I love how inclusive Propel is for most all our business needs. I also love the ease of integrating with our current systems.
Cons
I highly encourage Propel to rethink their offering strategy. If a cuatomer pays for specific licenses, then the included modules for that license should be visibly available to the customer to configure and start using on day one. Should the customer need assistance, then they could enlist the help of the Propel Support team. It does not make any sense to pay for offerings, yet not be able to take advantage of them unless you pay additional fees to have Propel set them up for you. I highly recommend a "base version" of an out of the box experience for all modules within each license.
Response from Propel Software
Thank you for your review Holly. I have communicated it with our customer team, and they should be in touch with you. We are glad to hear that you love Propel overall :)

In general, is a good experience, easy to use for most of the part, facilitates the search of information like procedures, drawings and Finish Goods BOM structure among other things.
Pros
Not sure at which degree IA is incorporated but there is a lot of common sense searches and queries you can ask to Propel and it delivers.
Cons
I guess ut depends on how is configured but there some views where I wish I have more details or when creating reports can get confusing and sometimes you don't get the specific information in one single report.

Propel has been a valuable tool in automating our Quality Management System. Our team compliance with training has improved dramatically, and the administration of training requirements has also become much easier.
Pros
Propel allows us to automate/computerize Change Control and training, which were the two most laborious Quality Management System processes to manage using a paper process. The functionality and features were mostly easy to understand.
Cons
Running reports and getting some basic metrics was harder than I would've liked.
Response from Propel Software

Propel is a must have for Product Development teams!
Reviewed on 2023-12-29
Pros
It's the most customizable PLM platform that I have personally ever used during my 10+ years in Product Development and is the most supported system by far, thanks to a very responsive team at Propel. They helped us design and tailor our Propel configuration based on our needs, including finished goods and BOM management, engineering change orders and revision control, quality control standards, supplier access and email notifications, and more.
Cons
It required a separate subscription/license with Salesforce due to the amount of cloud storage we required as an organization.
Response from Propel Software
