We went from excel spreadsheets to an online organized platform. We aren't yet using every feature available but look to onboard as many as make sense for us. The support team is always available and helpful when we need them. They also make themselves available to provide 1/1 training and assistance.

Pros

The platform is self contained and is very easy to use. Each page has a how-to video and a suggestion module. They are also extremely responsive when putting in a support ticket or requesting training. The onboarding has been very good and it was super quick to get setup.

Cons

The system is populated with demo data which does help initially but would also makes things a bit murky.

My experience has been very positive. I appreciate the live chat function that is available during business hours. In fact, a number of times I’ve been assisted after hours, which has been very useful. I recommend contract foreman to any contractor looking for CRM solution

Pros

I like the long list of PDF formats available. I get to email or text my subcontractor cruise, the work orders which I found the most valuable.

Cons

Initially, the color and layout of the dashboard seemed a little boring and outdated, but I see it coming together. I have no problem with it as it is function, that matters most.

An easier program to learn than some of the other software programs we have used at a reasonable price.

Cons

Would have liked a tutorial overview of how to properly set up the system. Step by step so everything is set up and then start with estimate creation, and so forth.

There are quite a few modules that we will not use, however you can turn most of them off.

My overall experience has been great, I feel that I should of made it more important from the beginning to learn the ins and outs of the features of the software as now I'm over 20 projects in and learning how to properly enter the data. Overall our experience with the software has been outstanding and loving that we are able to grow with a software as our business scales

I like that you can keep a running total of each project from start to finish, the features in Contractor Foreman are simple, easy to use and allows us to run our business effectively and efficiently from start to finish

Pros

Contractor Foreman has various positive features that retain my continued use for the software, such as ability to allow photo uploads within daily logs, mobile app use for all users, and reminder capabilities for critical job tasks.

Cons

Least likeable feature is when attempting to synchronize contractors foreman into our QuickBooks Software. There are duplicate entries or certain things do not transfer correctly. As a result, we had to terminate the synchronization between the two. Looking for an effective method to prevent errors from happening.

Thank you Kevin for the review. We do offer an QB integration call where we can walk you through this process. Typically where we see QB issues, and this would be the case with most any software, is when a company has decided add the same records to both systems prior to integration. Once Contractor Foreman is connected to QuickBooks, transactions made in one system will sync to the others easily. Please reach out if any assistance is needed.

Pros

I am still new to the platform but what I like is the amount of robust features that are available and the customization that you can do within the platform. I would also add that their customer service and training materials are very helpful and makes learning the system easier. They seem to have thought about a lot of details for their users making the workflows within the program easy to pickup on.

Cons

So far I haven't experienced many downsides. One roadblock that I have ran into is not finding a way to input my crews time in a bulk action. This could be a solvable problem, I just haven't found the answer yet. Additionally, in my line of work, the pay rates can change between jobs and I havent found a good way to track that yet. I plan on reaching out to their customer service to assist me with finding these answers!

Pros

I like being able too easily find documents that I've attached to different projects. I can name each file whatever I want, and make changes as needed. I like being able to be at a project and easily look at the attachments on my phone.

Cons

It seems a bit clunky in places. For example, if I select a project, I have to wait for it to come up and then it lands in a place where I have to select again (it lands on "summary," when I usually always want "financial"). Perhaps there's a function I haven't found yet where I can customize that area, but I haven't discovered it.

Pros

I have been completely blown away by the customer service the team has provided me. The initial salesman very patiently answered my questions and gave me the confidence that this program will do exactly what I need it to do. And he was right! The customer care I have received since we started our trial has been nothing short of amazing. The Live Chat feature is convenient if I have a simple question and the private trainings allow me to save up a list and review all at one time. I appreciate the reps offering suggestions of best practices and how I can make the system work for me. They're also open to feedback and want to continue improving their product.

Cons

Least? That I didn't find it sooner! It's going to make us so much more efficient.

What I like best about Contractor Foreman is that it is affordable, easy to use but at the same time quite powerful. It is also easy to set up and all the key features are available to manage a project from start to finish. Also the customer support is fast and efficient.

Cons

Contractor Foreman could have more integration with Salesforce and Sage Intacct.

CF is an incredible powerful tool for our buisness, it has everything we could need and more. Expceptional value for price. Even when we encountered a small feature that was missing that would be helpful to us, they assigned a project manager to help understand the need exactly and are working towards implimenting. Great company, highly recommend!

Cons

Steep learning curve -- but there are many tools to help with training. It's just time consuming.

It is an excellent tool to manage low to mid-size construction projects since we have the information in one place that can be shared with the peers, vendors and customers.

Pros

They have several Online courses that are accessible any time, plus additional training group sessions, as well as one to one session where you can resolve in more detail any issues that you might have had. They are very professional and talented. The reporting and tracking features are very robust, and you may customize them fairly easy.They provide several templates to upload data, of course you need specific skills to take advantage of it. The cost is really competitive for the value added received.

Cons

As any Packaged Solution there are certain limitations for changes while you fully understand how to implement it.
