Some of the bigger softwares do a bunch of stuff we don't need and thus it can be cumbersome to find your way around the site. Viventium is clear and intuitive. When I need help, customer service is quick to reply with REAL people, never a canned response. They actually care about solving my issue. > > **Cons**: I wish it was able to integrate with more things, but it continues to add collaborators all the time, which has been nice. > > I love it. They warn me when there will be any down time and it's not often and it's during low-use time and only for a short time. I have access to support that responds quickly. The software is also very customizable. This has saved us a lot of time when doing payroll. We also love the onboarding; it allows us to show ourselves as professional and organized. Viventium was straightforward to set up and integrate with our workflow. Viventium has all the tools for managing our employees. > > **Cons**: Some of our new hires have had problems finishing the onboarding process. They will get stuck and can't complete the forms. It may primarily be a user error, though. We want to be able to message our employees directly through the ESS portal, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. For instance, If I want to have an employee enter W-4 information but not have access to view wages, that's not possible. If an someone has access to an employee's file, they have access to all information. Tabs can't be limited. There a not a variety of options for producing information, reports, etc. For instance, I can only see 7 days in advance of someone's birthday. I can't increase the dashboard reminder to 14 days. Also, it would be nice for managers to have access to an employee contact directory without having access to employees files. I was told that I could forward our employee handbook to Viventium and they would incorporate it into a template and create a new handbook for us. After purchasing Viventium and attempting to do so, I was told that they "don't do that anymore". There are more.
