Pros
I like that Indeed is a platform that locates jobs in specific area for me. I also appreciate that the jobs are always similar to what I put in search field .
Cons
I dislike that there are not always a lot of reviews on certain job pages. Reviews from current or previous workers help me understand the job culture and what to expect.

Both Sides Are Bad

Negative all around experience with Indeed.
Negative all around experience with Indeed.
Pros
The only pro is that the platform is well known, so there are a lot of users to choose from.
Cons
Indeed is one of the worst platforms, from both a hiring and recruiting perspective. Having been through both sides of the system, I can confidently say that it has been absolutely terrible in both roles. Firstly, the user interface is horrendous. Navigating through the site is confusing and time-consuming, with many essential features either challenging to find or non-functional. This poor design results in a frustrating experience for recruiters trying to manage job applications and job postings. On top of that, when posting a job listing, it was randomly taken down without any given reason. This experience occurred despite Indeed continuously targeting us with promotions and encouraging us to post job listings on their site. This inconsistency and lack of communication make it extremely unreliable for companies trying to attract talent.
Given these significant drawbacks, I strongly recommend staying away from Indeed. There are far more user-friendly and reliable job platforms available that provide better service and consistent support for both jobseekers & recruiters.

My overall experience with Indeed has been a love and hate relationship. Since it is the leading program helping people find jobs we are at it's mercy as it pertains to policy changes and pricing.
Pros
Indeed streamlines applications from potential employees and lets you reach out to them via their many messaging options. The preset templates are a huge help in reaching out to a big number of people at the same time. The amount of people using indeed is also a huge positive for the program as it seems it is the only way to hire and get hired right now. Their assessments and customization of the hiring ad is also a very big plus, if the applicant decides to do them.
Cons
Indeed has many small underlying problems. One of the biggest is the ability for employees to rate employers. Often times this is misused by disgruntled employees and they will leave fraudulent negative reviews. Where this becomes a problem is that there is no resources to deal with fraudulent employer reviews and often times leads potential employees to shy away from applying or withdraw their application because of someone else's experience.
Another negative aspect of Indeed is the way Indeed lets you pay for these services. Often times leading you to overspend on a job posting, you can either set a spending limit or pay by the application. Problem is if you are not sponsoring your hiring ad, it will significantly inhibit your hiring ad from being seeing by potential employees.

Overall, this platform is the leading the industry. Whenever you post a position, you can expect to receive hundreds of applicants. You can post for "free" or sponsor a job for a nominal fee of $8.00/per day. On the user-friendly platform, you can select your short list of candidates, schedule interviews and reject those who do not meet your criteria. You can apply assessments, upload job descriptions, organize multiple jobs, applicant tracking, search for candidates and review analytical data. The monthly billing report is done with the convenience of downloading invoices from the site with automatic payment setup. Indeed truly makes the recruiting process efficient and painless.
Pros
Indeed is the ultimate platform for recruiting and selecting candidates. If you are looking to recruit, no matter the position, you must post on Indeed. Comparatively, no other platform compares and offers the flexibility and intuitiveness as Indeed.
Cons
Sometimes the volume of notifications become annoying. I would much rather login to the portal on each day I wish to review applicants. One other downfall is that the filters need to be tightened, so not to allow people living in other countries to apply, where a permanent status in Canada is required.

I find my overall experience with Indeed to be a really helpful platform for both job seekers and employers. Besides, I love how it has a user friendly interface and the existence of tonnes of job listing opportunities, making it a really great option for both job seekers and employers. However, I believe that everyone's experience can be different depending on their unique needs and situation.
Pros
Indeed's extensive resume database and powerful resume search functionality make it a game changer for finding top-notch candidates. The product is incredibly user friendly, streamlining the job posting and application management process. Integration with existing business processes is typically a breeze thanks to Indeed's intuitive interface and compatibility with common recruitment workflows. Rest assured, Indeed is the ultimate tool for finding and hiring the best talent out there.
Cons
I do believe that Indeed is a terrific platform that provides a variety of options to assist us in finding the ideal applicant for our job position. However, there is always opportunity for development in any wonderful instrument. The search criteria for applicants in the resume database are one area that may use some improvement. While they are adequate, some users may feel them to be too simple, desiring more complex and adjustable choices. Another area that may need some attention is platform communication management. While it's nice, isn't there always space for improvement?
