Getting staff used to a new clock in system will always be difficult. Some features I think can be improved on (i.e. accepting multiple shifts at a time in job scheduler, easier schedule making in app)

Their "customer service" is all online through chat, and they will always "put in a fix" and then...
Their "customer service" is all online through chat, and they will always "put in a fix" and then expect you to go read some stupid newsletter to see if the fix has been implemented. They can't seem to see anything from their end as well, so they're constantly asking me for screenshots or videos of the issues. Their managers don't seem to care either. I had a video chat with one to discuss a bunch of the time-eating features, he didn't take any notes and only seemed interested in one thing that "should've been working," and still doesn't. They clearly don't care that their product is sub-par.
Pros
The employee use and ease is great. They love it. I hate it as the person who has to put things in, it's so un-intuitive and I spend WAY to much time scheduling.
Cons
They've clearly not done good product testing in this program, simples tasks like right-clicks and basic functions just aren't there. It's A LOT of mouse clicks to schedule anything. It is sold as a time saving program, but it's not, and I consider myself pretty tech-savvy. It's just very not user-friendly.

We're sorry to hear you have such negative feelings about the platform and would like to improve as much as we can.
As for the schedule - did you try to have a live meeting with your account manager? That can help us understand what's important for you when scheduling your team, and advise on the best tools to do that (templates, open shifts, repetitions, etc.).
As for the customer service you've received, the reason the team asks for screenshots or videos is in order to identify the problem. If it's a technical issue that's not happening in all accounts, it means we can't reproduce it. If we can't reproduce it, we can't understand what needs to be fixed. While this can be annoying, it's important so we can help. If it's not a technical issue, we need to understand exactly what you're doing in order to advise.

Pros
The ease of using the time clock has been extremely helpful. We have been transitioning from using Google Sheets for time tracking and paper records for expense reports. The Forms option for digital record keeping has made the expense reports very easy and exceptionally convenient.
Cons
Automatic break transitions from Paid to unpaid after a time threshold would be great.I have run into issues with the built in camera feature in Forms.Having a way to break out vacation time and Holiday time together into different categories of PTO would be nice.Having a log of changes made to the timesheets for visibility and accountability would be extremely helpful.Setting dates to automatically give paid Holidays would be very convenient.

We would be happy to address some of the things you've mentioned here: (1) In PTO, you can create policy types (i.e. categories) and under each of them you can create as many policies as you need with different names, rules, and assignees. (2) Under each timesheet, there are blue and orange dots that automatically explain what changes or edits have been made in that timesheet, by who, and when. If you refer to a general audit page for all edits in the timesheets, that's a great idea we'll pass forward to the product team. (3) Setting automated dates for holidays is on our roadmap already :)

My team was hesitant to use Connecteam but it was so easy to learn! I love that I have access to it on my phone & computer - it really keeps me organized and I can easily stay on top of everything that is going on. Before, things would pile up quickly and communication wasn't as efficient as it is now. Any problem I encounter is QUICKLY addressed by customer service representatives!
Pros
Every feature we use has streamlined and organized my team for the better. The customer service is excellent and the ease of using the app & website is so simple! I really appreciate the videos on each feature - I much prefer learning it on my own and then sharing the videos with my team to help them become more efficient as well.
Cons
I wish there could be a combo package. While I primarily use Connecteam for "Operations" it would be nice to have some more than the free options in HR.

As for managing group chats, we have the manual way which is similar to any other chat app, by selecting group participants manually. But what really sets us apart is the ability to manage chat groups automatically using our Smart Groups feature, which will add and remove users automatically based on a set of custom rules to your selection :)
If you're a system admin, you can manage those groups from your dashboard (set it once and let it fly), and if you're not an admin, feel free to reach out to them with suggestions for improvements as they can control if users can or can't groups, with whom, and so on :)

Pros
Connecteam is a full suite, not only for yourself but for the whole team! When you get to know the UI, you can easily manage teams big and small – all things from working hour records, to payroll, to shift allocation and much more.
Cons
The UI is not the most user friendly at the start. The software has so many hidden features that you can easily get lost in the UI, especially when you are managing it for the team.

As an all-in-one platform, Connecteam has more than 20 different products in one place, helping companies reduce 6-7 other apps to only one :) The "downside" of it is that each product (e.g. time clock, schedule, surveys, chat, etc.) has its dedicated user interface and options, but the UI is mostly the same when it comes to where settings are located and other actions. That said, your dashboard has dozens of tutorial videos to guide you in each of our products - from the basics to advanced capabilities. Super user friendly. Has an immense amount of features compared to other software. I love their attention to detail. They have literally thought of everything!!
Cons
I have mentioned to some of the staff that I have employees with different job roles that have different pay rates. There is no feature for me to enter the same employee but with a different job role/pay rate. It is only one job so for that one I am unable to use the software. A real shame. Hopefully this will be added soon.

I like that the high level items I need are intuitive to find, and the chat support is amazing.
Cons
I don't like not knowing the default settings when I signed up (like it defaults to employees accepting or declining shifts ugh). Settings like this are not easy to find, so I have to use the chat support all the time. Also, setting up users and user groups for chats still isn't super clear to me. I don't like being directed to watch a video about it. I have a gazillion other things to do, so I need it to be quick and easy.

Connecteam's platform replaces 6-7 different tools for a business, even more. It means there's plenty to customize, and each product in the platform has its own stand-alone capabilities. To understand the settings for a specific product, like the schedule, access the schedule's settings menu, where you can tweak it to your liking. The same goes for any other product, like the chat, time clock, and so on. We can do so much in one place. employee management, scheduling, documentation, communication. I love being able to manage multiple areas with one system.
Cons
There are so many settings for each feature. The set up took a lot of time. It was a lot of trial and error at first, but I have a very patient team and ConnecTeam's support was very helpful.

Connecteam has allowed our small-but-growing grassroots nonprofit finally centralize and combine staff scheduling, time tracking, and payroll data on one easy-to-navigate, comprehensive platform. And the customer support experience is truly exceptional.
Pros
When choosing any service-provide, customer service is one of our most important criteria. We've been extremely impressed by Connecteam's online support team. They are always super professional, responsive, knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and thorough. And they reply literally within minutes! Or get back to you via email within a matter of hours. This is highly unusual, but especially given the very reasonable cost.
Cons
I think the Updates function is a bit clunky, and simple features like adding emojis or scheduling send time don't come with our subscription.
