I believe that boolean is simple and helps streamline the reporting process, but it's also restrictive and can make writing reports yielding specific information to be a challenge. Furthermore, separating information for reporting by certain functions is limiting when there is information I want from one section that's unavailable when building the bulk of my reports in another section of reports.
