The product really helps my team to perform more, and as a company Consensus are great at contributing to the industry in general - consensus's DemoFest event is where I get the majority of my upskilling and learning from in terms of my demo skills.

Pros

Getting to see exactly when a customer has interacted with a recording, exactly who has watched it and how much they engaged.

Cons

Sometimes I find it confusing to know if I've added a video to a library that everyone can access (useful for standard overview demos), or if I've added a video that just a small group can see/ use (useful for sharing recorded demo meetings with individual customers).

Pros

I love the ability to take control of the demo phase of a sales cycle early on. By sending out these demos in advance, our first calls with customers become a 2nd or 3rd engagement because they come ready with questions and thoughts on the demos!

Cons

I wish the live data/analytics were a little more robust.

Very good with potential to be even better

Pros

I find Consensus to be a goodway of adding value within a sales cycle with certain customers that are either difficult to secure 1 to 1 time with, or that I don't yet have an extensive relationship build up with yet. Its also a very good way of further pre qualifying a customer before a more in depth demonstration.

Cons

The biggest challenge that i face with Consensus is engagement statistics. Now this can be broken down into several reasons, such as when i'm positioning a consensus demo in the sales cycle, the intro videos that i use, or even the customers that i'm targeting. None the less, if i can increase the engagement statistic i feel the tool will become essential.

We've had a great experience implementing and using the solution. Also have had a great experience with their CSMs and Support team.

Pros

We were able to quickly get up and running with the solution and had our first demos sent to prospects within a couple days. We've received multiple compliments from recipients of our demos that they "like the way that was presented." The ability to see if the recipients are watching and sharing your demo is great!

Cons

The user interface is not all that intuitive, but not too bad once you figure it out.

Consensus is a welcome addition to my tools for client engagement. While the platform is amazing, in itself, what is the key differentiator is their support team, who are always willing to jump in, take ownership, and partner with you to see the best possible results. I am excited for what the future will be in further utilization of this product.

Pros

I really love how creative this platform allows you to be, in engagement with current and prospective clientele. There is an enablement to include relevant and pertinent data customized for each client it is directed to. Consensus allow for business snapshot to still have a wide scope for the audience, in lieu of a standard live/in-person meeting. Also, the customer support is, by far, the best that you could ever ask for. They are patient, knowledgeable, and intuitive, to say the least.

Cons

At first, it took a short time to work out small bugs that did not allow for accurate visibility of view rates from the clients. Thankfully, this was a small bump in the road traveled, so far, as this has been improved upon.

Best tool in the marketplace to keep prospects "warm"!

Pros

Keeping prospects warm in between meetings is mission critical. Consensus' platform allows me to create custom content that is delivered in a seamless, low-pressure environment.

Cons

Nothing! There products are very user friendly. Bonus points - Most of my deals that close won are directly coorelated to champions who opened my Consensus videos multiple times throughout the sales cycle

Pros

Easy to learn, easy to use. I can get a ton of information out to my Prospects showing them details for each of our different systems. It would be nearly impossible to transfer this much info as quickly using a standard personalized email format. Also, the analytical tools in Consensus allow my team leadership to track the effectiveness of my Consensus usage.

Cons

No cons to speak of. It is a great tool to have for my daily tasks.

Pros

I think the best thing about Consensus is the fact that I can integrate it with Gmail and easily find what I need to share with my customers. The integration is great!

Cons

I think customizing Demo Titles while in the integration was a bit harder than I expected. However, it was not the most difficult thing to figure out.

As a Solutions Consultant I often ran demos for simple parts of the product and spent a lot of time just doing the same integration demos, Consensus has saved me time and helped our sales people close deals faster by being able to create repeatable demos that can be sent out to customers whenever needed

Pros

I like how easy it is to record demos and send them out right from the email plugin. I like how we are able to track viewer metrics to see who is actually watching our demos. And I love how easy it is to share demo videos across the organization.

Cons

Sometimes the email plug in can be buggy
It definitely takes some level of enablement to get the hang of the tool

Consenus enables me to dive deeper with prospects

Pros

I like that Consensus allows me to cast a broader net without draining my time, it helps me win fast or lose fast, and it enables me to find new contacts at prospect accounts without directly asking for them. The demos are easy to share and my prospects have had good feedback about them. I'm able to dive deeper on calls, spending more time on specific pain points and how our solution solves for those pain points, without taking as much time from my prospects as I would if we did a demo live.

Cons

The only downside to Consensus is that you are not doing a live demo and hearing your prospects' questions in real time. However, you can adjust your process to follow up quickly after the alert that they viewed the demo to engage and answer questions that may have come up. I also always coordinate a follow up call before I send the Consensus links so I know we have time on the calendar to dig in deeper to the solution and how it can solve their specific pain points .

incredibly easy qualification and improved buyer experience

Pros

It has been so powerful within our Sales Org to be able to provide our buyers with the right information at the right time. Consensus is helping us to qualify (in/ out) more quickly, leading to a faster sales cycle. The integration with Gmail is working spotlessly and it was incredibly easy to learn and use Consensus (took about 20 minutes to understand and get used to it).

Cons

Nothing I can think of, other than a couple of permissioning issues which are coming up because of the way our org has set Consensus up.

Best Sales Tool I've Ever Used

Pros

The Consensus platform makes my life as a Sales Engineer so much easier. Any customer call I've had where they've watched the DemoBoard, I get to see the Demolytics in advance, the customer may have shared the demo to more people, we get the viewing statistics, but the best thing, they come to the call with me with specific questions, not wanting a demo. This speeds up the sales cycle so much.Additionally, the team at Consensus are amazing! Our Customer Success rep, [sensitive content hidden], is always available and always extremely helpful.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike. We have submitted a number of feature enhancements which are all in progress.
