we manage rosters over 3 sits (soon to be 4). However the cost of paying for multiple rosters that do not link to our paysystem is becoming prohibitive and we are actively looking for an integrated payroll / roster / timeclock package.
Pros
easily accessible for staff, good visuals and easy to use. Some staff are abler to link to the phone calendars which is helpful
Cons
The phone app is not great for me so always use desktop version on my phone, which can be problematic. there should be a setting that forces automatic refresh as sometimes staff will be looking at a roster and not realise it has changed.

It has push notifications for shifts and a downloadable app.
Cons
i find it a little costly to be honest so I would consider other options.

Staff find it more straight forward to use, it has reminders on and no one misses there shifts. No one writes over and or can amend without permission and its cleaner and tidier
Cons
over complicated in areas such as booking holiday and leave entitlement. Almost too many tabs and variations without little understanding

I like the interface, it's ideal for what we need.
Cons
We would like activity logs and to be able to schedule further into the future, but it's very expensive for a small team.

We use both, but the Findmyshift is much better for the schedule side of things, TimeKeeper is much better for clocking in and out as it allows us to have a tablet on the wall as a Kiosk to save people from using the app and it also means they have to be on site to clock in or out.- Industry: Education Management

Fantastic, easy to use, both on desktop and on the app. Everything I need and a load more functions that I don't even use that might appeal to others too.
Pros
The scheduling format is very simple and intuitive. I've used it for two different businesses, one only employing up to 10 people and one that employed 60+ and found it just as useful for both.
Cons
It's only minor - I've received feedback from the team that they don't appreciate the reminders about upcoming shifts especially when it comes through on their scheduled days off. If this feature could be an opt-in rather than opt-out that would help.

Rota scheduling & timesheeting is essential to our business the tool is generally easy to use, but has some odd functionality issues that could be improved.
Cons
there is no integration technically to, for example, our payroll. this is therefore a manually intensive process - better calculations for holiday and sick pay rates would be a godsend for the hospitality industry who pay hourly rates and therefore holiday and sick pay has to be manually calculated every month - tedious

We would like to be able to separate departments a bit better. it is nice that we can put the facility under their shift. but for ease of access, it'd be nice to be able to separate staff into separate lists so separate team leaders can see their staff in a concise list. but some staff work in multiple departments

Pros
Love the time clock feature for accurately tracking hours worked and calculating payroll hours. Making schedules is quick and easy, and our employees appreciate that they get instant notifications when changes are made, and that they can check their schedules from anywhere.
Cons
Only minor irritation is that the time clock feature we use on a tablet sometimes signs out the administrator account and staff miss clocking in as a result, so we still occasionally have to track hours on paper. It would be great if the administrator received some kind of notification that the time clock has been logged out so we can fix it before an employee alerts us.
